About Reed Oestreicher

Growing up in Maine, my life has been shaped by the coastline and the steady rhythm of the ocean. That connection—to the water, the changing seasons, and the character of Maine’s communities—continues to influence how I understand places, lifestyles, and the meaning of home.

After attending Yarmouth schools and the Maine School of Science and Mathematics, I went on to earn my undergraduate degree, Master of Engineering, and MBA from the Rochester Institute of Technology. I began my career as an engineer with General Motors, where I developed a strong foundation in design, problem-solving, and project management, ultimately moving into roles focused on implementation and execution.

While I valued that experience, Maine remained a constant pull. Returning home and transitioning into real estate has allowed me to bring together my analytical background, attention to detail, and deep appreciation for the place I’ve always loved.

Today, I specialize in helping clients discover exceptional properties across Maine—from waterfront retreats and in-town residences to private countryside escapes. I take pride in guiding clients through one of life’s most meaningful decisions with a thoughtful, informed, and steady approach. My goal is to connect people with homes that truly align with how they want to live, whether that means waterfront access, privacy and space, or the energy of a vibrant coastal community.

Outside of real estate, I spend as much time as possible along the coast and outdoors. I enjoy golfing, boating, fishing, wakeboarding, wakesurfing, and paddleboarding. I’m also an automotive enthusiast and enjoy car shows, organized drives, and the occasional track day. In the winter, you’ll often find me skiing at Sugarloaf or Sunday River, cooking with friends, or exploring Portland’s restaurant scene.
